Engineering Explained

What you should know about cold room engineering & supply, explained simply by our own technicians.

01

Engineering that fits your product

Fresh produce needs high humidity and gentle airflow. Frozen seafood needs fast pull-down and stable temperatures well below -18°C. Pharmaceuticals need tight control between +2°C and +8°C. We start every project by understanding what you store and how much moves in and out each day, then size the room and equipment around it.

In Malaysia an outdoor condensing unit can face afternoons above 35°C, so we size for the hottest day, not the average one. That prevents rooms that struggle every afternoon and compressors that wear out early.

02

Supply of matched components

Panels, doors, refrigeration and controls are supplied as one matched package, so nothing is undersized or incompatible. Every condensing unit and control panel is checked in our Klang workshop before it leaves, which reduces problems on site.

We supply complete kits for our own installations, and we also supply panels and equipment to contractors and businesses who have their own installation team, together with drawings and technical support.

03

What you receive

Each engineering and supply project includes a heat-load summary, an equipment schedule, panel and door specifications, layout drawings and an itemised quotation. You can build with our crew, use your own installer, or use the package to compare quotations fairly.

FAQ

Engineering FAQs

Straight answers to the questions our customers ask most, written by our own technicians.

What does cold room engineering include?

+

Engineering covers the heat-load calculation, selection of panels, doors, condensing unit, evaporator and controls, plus layout drawings showing racking, doors and equipment positions.

Can you supply panels and equipment only, without installation?

+

Yes. We supply PUF panels, insulated doors, refrigeration units and control panels to contractors and businesses with their own installation team, along with drawings and technical support.

What panel thickness do you supply?

+

We supply PUF and PIR panels from 75 mm to 200 mm. Chiller rooms typically use 75 mm to 100 mm, freezer rooms 100 mm to 150 mm and blast freezers 150 mm to 200 mm.

Which refrigeration brands and refrigerants do you supply?

+

We select reliable, widely available equipment and refrigerants that suit your temperature and budget, and explain the choice in the quotation so you know what you are getting.

How long does supply take?

+

Standard panels and equipment are usually ready within one to three weeks after approval. Large or custom orders are scheduled with you in advance.

Do you deliver outside the Klang Valley?
